What can “Family tree maker” do for your Genealogy research They will present a quick overview of Family Tree Maker 2014 and Family Tree Maker 3 for the Mac. Some of the features we will cover are the ease of building your tree and keeping your Family Tree Maker tree and your Ancestry.com up to date with TreeSync. In addition, we will look at reports/charts, mapping with Places, and the management of sources and media. We welcome any questions about FTM on either platform.

Jan 10, 2017 Pamela Bell Dallas has enjoyed conducting personal and client research for more than 25 years
using a wide variety of repositories and record sources. She has presented genealogy lectures at national conferences,
regional conferences and one day seminars as well as local society meetings. Pamela’s genealogical focus is Midwest
research, methodology and unique record sources.

Avoiding the 6 Biggest Genealogy Mistakes.” Participants will learn how to avoid common mistakes including:
1. Trusting family myths
2. Believing that all the family trees posted on the internet are accurate
3. Connecting "same-name" people when they shouldn't
4. Being beguiled by genealogy snake-oil salesmen
5. Believing that all original family records are accurate
Mr. Baker has been an active genealogist for the past 15 years.
In 2011, he completed the Board for Certification of Genealogists (BCG) requirements to become a Board-Certified Genealogist,
with a specialty in German genealogy research. He also specializes in Midwest US and early American genealogy research.
