Subject:"Trash Talk - Using Archeology for genealogy"
Speaker: Marilyn Ulbricht, President of Root Cellar, Sacramento Genealogical Society
Marilyn has held dual degrees in Anthropology History and Archeology for the past 30 years. She is actively involved in research, analysis, archeological surveys, lab analysis, or "dig" projects. Archeology and History has enabled her to interpret her family roots and provided the latitude to stretch ideas and insight on how to research outside the box.
Her past studies in law, 22 years as an IRS revenue officer and later becoming a licensed real estate agent have given her the ability to gather and analyze facts and decide various courses of actions to close cases. She has applied these skills of locating people to furthering her family history research.
